What you'll do
Assist the GRF Germany Catering team with the following:
- Planning, development, and execution of new strategies and catering concepts
- Professional interface management between caterers, GRF, and our internal and external partners
- Support in the contract creation process (preparation of invitations to tender, evaluation of bids, contract negotiations, drawing up and monitoring of contracts)
- Definition, support, and optimization of processes
- Invoice verification and cost optimization
- Quality management, reporting, and analyses
- General administrative tasks
What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Food management, gastronomy, business administration, finance, or related fields
- Computer skills: Good to excellent MS Office skills; experience in creating presentations and documentation, knowledge of SAP R/3 would be an advantage
- Language skills: Very good German and English language skills (spoken and written)
- Soft skills: Customer focus; ability to work independently; goal-oriented; assertive; structured way of working; fast learner
- Other: Good business acumen; experience in gastronomy or corporate catering
Meet your team
Global Real Estate & Facilities (GRF) at SAP manages the organization’s global real estate portfolio and operational facility management. We are an innovative and trusted business partner within the organization and develop modern, future-oriented workplace and infrastructure solutions that reflect SAP’s values.
We manage facilities, services, real estate, and construction at our office buildings and data centers.
The regional GRF team is responsible for around 100 buildings in Germany with an area covering roughly 540,000 m2, at locations such as Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, and Munich in addition to SAP headquarters in Walldorf and St. Leon-Rot.
In addition, we manage the entire catering portfolio for our 20,000 or so employees in Germany, encompassing 17 cafeterias, 25 bistros, and around 100 coffee corners. We are looking for a motivated student with exciting, innovative ideas for increasing employee satisfaction to join our Catering / Food & Beverage team in Walldorf.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
