About the team:
Be part of SAP’s cloud transformation! Due to SAP’s ongoing business model transformation, the Services business is continuously growing in importance. It enables the adoption and consumption of our Cloud products and ultimately drives customer retention. The Business Area Controlling (BAC) Services is an international team which enables the executives within SAP’s Services organization to drive this Software-as-a-Service transformation by providing financial insights and supporting them in all controlling-related activities. This includes the target setting process, the financial forecast, and risk and deviation analyses.
The BAC Services Cross team has a vacancy for an internship of 6 months at the SAP headquarter in Walldorf. The job posting addresses all candidates who are passionate about business steering and driving simplification, standardization, and automation of key controlling processes.
What you’ll do:
Position title: SAP iXp Intern (f/m/d) - BAC Services Cross team
Work Area: Administration
Location: Walldorf
Expected start date: January 01, 2025
In this role, you’ll:
- Support the budgeting and planning process for 2025 including important business and financial KPIs, such as revenue, operational profit, order entry, etc.
- Support in business-unit controlling activities, such as forecasting, month-/quarter-end closing activities, and master data maintenance, including the creation of internal order, profit center, etc.
- Help to prepare important and insightful reporting documents for the senior management team of the Services organization
- Contribute to the quarterly State of Business reporting initiative, that provides in-depth insights into key Cloud and Services KPIs to high-level executives at different organizational levels
- Contribute to the various initiatives and projects in BAC Services by supporting all project-related tasks during project planning, rollout, and monitoring phases and ensuring adequate quality
- Support the creation of process documentation and publication on SAP internal platforms
- Proactive interaction and communication with team members, managers, and other internal customers in an international environment
Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences of business administration, business information systems or adjacent disciplines
- Strong proficiency with MS Office products (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
- First experiences in Business Intelligence systems and Python coding is an advantage
- Team player, analytical and process-oriented thinking pattern with good communication skills
- Time management skills and able to work under pressure
- High customer-orientation coupled with pronounced quality awareness and precision
- First working experience in Finance & Controlling is a plus
- Very good language skills in English
