Occupant simulation/restraint system analysis within the Passive Safety department is responsible for the numerical/virtual design of occupant protection for all global legal and rating requirements in frontal and side impacts. This includes the functional design and vehicle-specific coordination of restraint systems (airbags and seat belts) as well as the occupant safety-relevant design of interior components.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
- Implementing scripts for process automation (Python, Perl, HTML)
- Further development of existing Python scripts (CNN for object recognition)
- Degree in computer science, computational engineering or a comparable course of study
- Knowledge of Python
- Initial experience with Perl and HTML is an advantage
- Confident written and spoken German and English skills
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Commitment and ability to work in a team
- Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
