Today, almost every company relies on stable running IT applications and the availability of their products and services. This applies even more when it comes to applications used for energy supply, operating energy markets and clearing of financial transactions in an exchange. The responsibility of our IT Operations team is to ensure these stable operation of our high available 24/7 clearing applications and therefore we secure the availability of energy trading and clearing not only in Germany, but globally.
Your tasks:
- Creating, editing and maintaining technical documentation including user manuals, product guides and compliance documents
- Collaboration with Engineers, Productmanagers and other stakeholders to gather input and ensure accuracy of documentation
- Translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise and user-friendly content
- Reviewing and updating existing documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards
- Assistance in the development of templates and style guides for documentation
- Conducting research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical writing

In order to achieve the greatest possible learning effect, it would be best for you if you could be onsite in Leipzig for at least 50% of the working time. We need your support as of January 2025 (unlimited).
Your skills:
- Currently enrolled for example in an English-language degree program, preferably with a technical focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation
- Basic understanding of complex technical concepts and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with documentation tools (e.g. Adobe Acrobat, Markdown, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Previous experience in technical writing or related field is a plus but not required
