About our Corporate Consulting Team

As Corporate Consulting and Digitalization team at Heraeus, we know the challenges today's global manufacturing and service companies face. We work on key topics that are highly relevant for the performance of the Heraeus Group and thus create real added value side by side with our colleagues in the Operating Companies. We have deep expertise in Supply Chain Excellence (e.g., Operations, Lean Six Sigma) and Commercial Excellence (e.g., Marketing and Sales). We drive digital innovation in our Operating Companies in many different areas, such as Digital Customer Experience (e.g., eCommerce, Web, CRM, Customer Analytics), IoT (e.g., Machine Connectivity, Robotics, Automation, Metrology) and Data Science (e.g., AI, Data Engineering, Optimization). In our Consulting team, we are always in close contact with each other. The following challenges await you:

• We always work in teams with flat hierarchy levels - and you will be typically part of one our project teams and can take over responsibility on the project from day 1 to develop your skills.
• Together we work closely with the Heraeus Operating Companies on strategic commercial topics such as marketing, sales, pricing, new business models, sustainability, or growth initiatives.
• The application of our proven Commercial Excellence Toolbox and on-the-job coaching will help you to learn a lot on these topics.
• During the projects you will be involved in conducting interviews, analyzing data, conducting market research and developing improvement initiatives.
• You will be involved in the preparation of workshops and also participate in these meetings to give you the opportunity to be involved in and actively shape the decision-making process.
  

Your profile:

• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a similar field
• Interest in marketing, sales, pricing, sustainable business models, and/or growth topics
• High motivation and reliability, eagerness to learn, team player, analytically minded, proficient in MS Office applications, very good communication skills (German & English)
• Showing strong initiative - "waiting for instructions" is not an option for you
• Ideally first work experience in a similar role, such as an internship or working student position in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Consulting
• Typically availability for 6 month or longer and up to 20h per week (with possibility to increase in semester breaks if desired)
