Job Description

• During your master thesis, you will be responsible for extending an existing MEMS gyroscope simulation model (micromechanic and electrostatic) in MATLAB Simulink sensor-specific physical properties such as nonlinear mechanics and temperature dependencies.
• Together with Bosch experts, you will play an active role in understanding the underlying physical effects and the corresponding cause-and-effect relationships.
• You will also choose an appropriate modeling approach, such as using MATLAB Simscape.
• You will design validation and sanity checks for models.
• The scope of the Master's thesis will be tailored to your application profile and current needs.

Qualifications

• Education: studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Cybernetics, Microsystems Engineering, Physics or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge: very good knowledge in MATLAB and Simulink, experienced in mathematical description and modeling of dynamic systems as well as physical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Personality and Working Practice: high degree of self‑employment to acquire new knowledge and conscientious work
• Languages: good in English and German

Duration: 3 - 6 months
