Modern vehicles are becoming increasingly intelligent. In particular, the ability to perceive, interpret and react to the vehicle's surroundings has been greatly improved in recent years. Camera systems, which are being used for increasingly complex functions, play a decisive role in this. Together with us in the team, you will play an active role in shaping this development.
Your Tasks:
For example, you will work on:
- Tool development for the improvement and automation of tuning and test procedures
- Further development of camera-related software libraries
- Preparation and improvement of camera images
- Evaluation and testing of algorithms and software modules
The specific task will depend on your interests and the current focus of our development work and will be discussed with you in a personal interview. This activity is also possible as part of a final thesis.
Necessary Skills:
- Ongoing studies in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences or a comparable STEM degree program
- Good knowledge and experience in programming with C/C++ or Python
- Very good understanding of mathematics and physics combined with a high willingness to learn
- Practical experience in the fields of optics, image processing or camera systems is required
Desired Skills:
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Reliability, ability to work in a team, initiative, structured and independent way of working
