We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of Robotics Engineering.

What awaits you?

• Design, build, and optimize the software architecture and decision-making algorithms of a real-world logistics robot.
• Assist in various tasks in robotics engineering.
• Deployment of the complete system in different production plants.
• Troubleshoot system failures and propose adequate solutions.
• Participate in the Continuous Integration of the robot.
• Collaborate with the team using Agile software development methods.
• Document work on the wiki-based collaboration tool Atlassian Confluence.
• Maintain software using version control and git.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in Robotics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, or any science degree with relevant experience.
• Experience with Python and C++. C/C# or Java experience also relevant.
• Experience with system development using a ROS Environment.
• Experience with code collaboration using git.
• Experience with application development and deployment in Docker.
• Problem solving skills, ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.
