Intern / Working Student - Global IT Transformation Project (f/m/x)

Carl Zeiss Vision Care is in the middle of a Global IT Transformation, standardizing and upgrading, both, End-to-End processes, and global IT systems. The "Global IT Transformation Project"-Intern will support the Project Management Offices serving as a centralized entity within an organization that is responsible for standardizing and streamlining project management processes, practices, and governance. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into project management of a global transformation project.

Your Role

• Establishing project governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure that projects align with organizational goals and objectives

• Defining standardized project management templates, tools, and techniques to promote consistency and efficiency across projects

• Supporting project managers to document End-to-End processes, IT landscape and business requirements

• Managing project plan, identifying the interdependencies between the deliverables, and steering the stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries

• Generating project status reports, dashboards, and other communication materials to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, issues, and milestones.

• Establishing quality standards and processes to ensure that project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and organizational requirements

• Engaging with key stakeholders, including executives, sponsors, and project teams, to gain buy-in, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration throughout the project lifecycle

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program with focus on Business Informatics / Business IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent

• Initial practical experience through working student activities or internships desirable

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Preferably, first experiences with business process modeling tools (e.g., Signavio)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German language

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

• High willingness to learn and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
