Working Student in the area of Master Data Management (f/m/d)

Renesas is seeking a talented Working Student in the area of Master Data Management for our Product Line Sensor Signal Conditioning. Preferably, the role will be based in our office in Munich, with opportunities also available in Dresden and Nabern, Kirchheim unter Teck. However, if none of these locations are suitable, we are open to offering remote opportunities. The duration is for one year on a part-time basis (20 hours).

 Responsibilities:

• Collect all relevant business data and create an automated procedure to integrate them according to a defined format and template, especially when updates are available (several excel files currently in use which need to be integrated properly and automatically)
• Nice to have: create a simple GUI interface where the integration of all relevant data are converging in one single view, with possibility to have free field for simulations.
• Work closely with Product Manager Team, Marketing, Business Analyst and Product Line Head to define and implement the requirements and review the progress of the work.
• Work closely with IT and other departments (e.g. SCM) in order to understand how the data are generated and how to come as close as possible to „single source of true“ concept.
• Support Business Analyst for the finalization of the business dashboard (currently under implementation using Power BI tool) as fundamental tool with all relevant business data in one location for business monitoring and review.

Qualifications

Your Profile:

• Active student in Information Technology or Engineering. Moreover, students in business and administration, preferably with an IT scope, as well as those presently pursuing university education in Business Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields, are also welcome to apply.
• You are passionate about Software, DataBase, Data analysis and automatization in order to create best procedure and drive efficiency under digitalization.
• You have strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• You are an active customer-oriented team player, an active driver who wants to get things done.
• You have an entrepreneurial attitude and problem-solving approach.
• Proven experience in Programming (e.g. scripting) and GUI interface.
• Advanced knowledge about Excel and data base.
• Very good communication in English, both written and spoken, German is nice to have
