But these funds have also been difficult or impossible to access, especially for individuals. Onerous paperwork, high investment minimums (~10m) and difficulty picking a fund have all been hurdles that kept individuals out. Access has always been dominated by institutions or a select few. Moonfare is revolutionising access to private equity using a fully digital platform that provides qualified investors access to selectively vetted top-performing funds within 15 minutes and at minimums as low as 50,000. Moonfare provides investors with innovative reporting and the potential to trade their stakes in funds using our Secondary Market. Financial Planning & Analysis Intern (m/f/d)

Passionate about finance and ready to make your mark? Join us as an Intern in our Finance team! From day one, you'll be entrusted with exciting projects, giving you the chance to shine and make meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.You will also play a key role in supporting the development of the company’s financial and operational business model, finance analytics that drives strategic decision-making and best-in-class stakeholder reporting.  

You will:

• Prepare and manage financial reports for management, shareholders and the board, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivery.
• Engage in business partnering with commercial teams to analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis, comparing them with budgeted figures and gathering insights to build performance reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, particularly in the areas of financial closing, updating spreadsheets and creating presentations using tools such as Excel, Pigment and PowerPoint.
• Engage in diverse ad-hoc finance projects, leveraging skills in data analysis, financial modeling and seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive impactful outcomes.

The next Moonfarian:

• Currently enrolled students or recent graduates with a Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Has past internship experience in Fintech startups, investment banking, private equity, or consulting firms.
• Is familiar with financial reporting and budgeting cycles.
• Shows exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
• Exhibits a positive mindset, hands-on mentality and the ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
• Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong data analysis skills, along with experience with tools like Tableau, SQL, and financial planning software (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan) are a plus.
• Fluency in English is required .
• Fluency in any other languages is a plus.

Salary:  2,200 per month

To be eligible for this position you should:

• Have at least six months of availability.
• Have a valid Visa/Work Permit.
• Be based in Berlin. (Relocation support is not available)
