About you and this role

We are looking for you, an ambitious bachelor's student, to support our EH&S department by doing an internship project in Optimization of health and safety processes for our location in Schkopau and Böhlen, Germany.

Project description

The aim of the project is to revise existing training courses for current health and safety instructions. The goal should be to create a comprehensive offer for DCG. The task is to work within a team to design the implementation of legally required occupational health and safety instructions in a large company in the chemical industry.

The different requirements of the individual departments must be recorded and offered in a generally valid concept in such a way that area-specific requirements can be equally considered and implemented.

Responsibilities

• Conducting meetings with internal experts to drive forward the implementation of this new strategy.
• Prioritization of individual topics in consultation with the project team.
• Finalization of the concept for the occupational health and safety instructions.

Qualifications

• You are currently studying for a bachelor's/master’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
• You have a good working knowledge of English.

Preferred Skills

• Initial experience in the field of occupational safety and/or environmental protection
• Team player, yet able to work independently
• Confident handling of MS Office applications

Additional notes

You can start between June and August in 2024 for a period of 6 months (exact timing to be discussed).
