Mandatory internship in Global Brand, Lifestyle & Influencer Communications from August 2024

In the Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans Global Communications department, the team is responsible for brand, lifestyle and influencer communication on global brand, product and technology topics for the Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-EQ and Mercedes-Maybach brands. The team is also responsible for press communications relating to the Mercedes-Benz fashion commitment.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Contributing to the day-to-day business of the Brand, Lifestyle and Influencer Communications team
• Collaboration and taking on sub-projects at press events
• Participation in communication initiatives including concept development and preparation of interview briefings
• Research work on media data, background information on new media, as well as product and competition monitoring, trend research
• Creation of analysis / clipping documents for the evaluation of press activations
• Assistance with organizational tasks and participation in meetings and committees, including taking minutes

• Degree in communication sciences with a focus on PR / journalism / media-media management or a comparable degree program
• Practical experience desirable
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
• Creativity and reliability
