The Engineering Tools & Smart Data team structures the digitalization activities of Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations. We, the team, act as drivers of digitalization efforts and are the central point of contact for the implementation of innovative technologies. We often take on the role of implementation partner for the specialist departments, from the initial idea through to implementation and global rollout.

We are looking for you to support our team in the implementation of process mining as an important lever for process optimization and the migration of existing products to new process mining software. Furthermore, we would like to strengthen the topic of RPA development with you.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Technical support for projects in the process mining and RPA environment
• Independent migration of (partial) work packages of existing globally rolled out process mining projects to a new system
• Independent processing of (partial) work packages in the context of various use cases in production and planning
• Independent search, collection and preparation of data
• Automation of data streams for process analysis
• Application of the process mining method using user-specific tools
• Determination of findings and optimization possibilities for existing processes
• Implementing the analysis in the daily work of the predefined target group
• Creation of necessary presentations, documentation and papers
• Organization of appointments for process/data recording and communication of the results

• Degree in computer science, business informatics or mathematics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• IT and technical knowledge of common process mining languages and tools such as Microsoft, Celonis PAFnow, PM4Py
• IT and technical knowledge of common RPA tools such as Microsoft and UiPath
• Knowledge of the programming languages Python, PySpark
• Knowledge of software development or CI/CD
• Knowledge of working with databases (ADLS, SQL, Elastic)
• Knowledge of working in the Azure Cloud is an advantage
• Knowledge in the areas of process management, digitalization of business processes and Industry 4.0 is desirable
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
