Internship in Client Onboarding department, Hybrid (m/w/d)

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Onboarding team that focuses on our Collateral Management clients in Frankfurt, Germany.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Intern in Collateral Management you will

• Learn about Collateral Management and onboarding relevant processes
• Work directly with clients to ensure all required documents are available and correct
• Respond to client queries about onboarding related questions
• Set up clients on various systems to allow margining their OTC, CCP, ETD and repo transactions
• Ensure superior client satisfaction by proactively identifying issues impacting client satisfaction
• Oversee processes carried out by other State Street offices, perform quality checks and engage in solution of issues
• Collaborate with internal and external groups to identify, analyze and proactively resolve issues and exceptions
• Support to manage daily service delivery to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• (Ongoing) Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or higher) in finance, business or equivalent field
• First experience in the financial industry and financial instruments (derivatives, securities etc.)
• Fluent English and German language skills (written and spoken)
• Candidate is expected to be a team player, quick learner and have a good eye for details
• Stress resistance, multi-tasking and ability to work within multiple deadlines
• Structured, goal-oriented and independent work style
• Very high level of client and service awareness
