Working student position in the IT Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations department from July 2024

In the "Manufacturing Execution & Operations" team, we are responsible for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) scopes for controlling the production and assembly processes in the body shop, the trade-specific body sorters, in the powertrain (engines, transmissions, axles, electric drive train, batteries) as well as partial scopes in vehicle assembly. We are now looking for student support for the technical architecture of our product clusters within the "PLUS" production management and control system. We offer you an exciting and diverse environment in a highly motivated team. You can expect varied and responsible tasks, which you will work on together with the product team. Your activities will give you exciting insights into the global production network of Mercedes-Benz and the processes of large IT products and projects.

You will be assigned these tasks:

• Collaboration with the Cluster Architects as well as with dynamic and international SCRUM teams
• Support in the maintenance of agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Supporting the Cluster Architects in organizing appointments, e.g. preparing presentations, preparing and following up workshops, inviting product and project members, moderating and recording content
• Coordination and support of tasks in the various project phases (planning, conception, implementation, test and rollout phase)
• Maintenance and further development of cross-product communication

The activity as a working student consists of on-site appointments and a part that can be completed in the home office.
