Sales Operations Mercedes-Benz Cars ensures the optimal supply of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars to markets worldwide. To this end, we draw up future forecasts for the sales and production program in order to manage our plants and suppliers in advance, and also manage order processing and order scheduling as well as the customer-oriented coordination of vehicle deliveries. Within the department, we plan and control the market supply so that every vehicle is available in the desired configuration at the right time and in the right place.

In Distribution for Mercedes-Benz Cars (MBC), 2.5 million new passenger cars are managed across the globe. Our Disruption Management and Special Handling Distribution team always comes into play when bottlenecks or other difficulties occur on the distribution route. We ensure that the impact on sales is kept to a minimum by ensuring that sufficient shipping space is available for shipments worldwide or by organizing special transports by sea, land and air worldwide. In addition, an important part of our work is to ensure that the service providers have the necessary shipping information and documents and to ensure transparency in sales about all these processes. We are constantly developing new tools and systems to create the necessary transparency for these processes.

We are looking for a creative mind who can help us find new solutions for data transparency, improve existing systems and tools and enjoy creating data tools themselves.

Your tasks in detail:

• Active participation in the new development, further development and design of tools and systems to create data transparency
• Collaboration on projects relating to disruption issues on the logistics route
• Creating reports and decision documents for management

• Degree in business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially PowerBI and Excel
• Ability to work in a team, creativity and communication skills, commitment
