Master's thesis in the field of technologies and start-up support from September 2024

Our company is looking for dedicated Master's graduates in the field of Maintenance Engineering to join our team. As a Master's graduate, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in Maintenance Engineering while applying your theoretical knowledge from your studies. You will work in a motivating environment and be involved in important projects that will expand your knowledge and skills.

The Maintenance Engineering department is responsible for the international maintenance planning of production technologies. The tasks include the standardization and optimization of a variety of different technologies and processes in the production areas of body-in-white manufacturing.

You will face the following challenges

• Optimization of parameters in the series process to improve welding technology
• Improving availability in body shell construction through targeted measures
• Accelerating and shortening commissioning processes through efficient planning and implementation of optimization strategies
• Carrying out data analyses from the series process and supporting test planning to identify potential for improvement

The final topic is determined in consultation with the university, you and us.

• Degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, production engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or related courses of study
• A good command of written and spoken German and English
• Basic knowledge of joining technology and welding technology is desirable
• Interest in joining processes such as welding, optimization processes and maintenance engineering
• Technical understanding and the ability to grasp complex technical relationships
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling is an advantage
• Good programming skills, preferably in Python or R, are desirable
• Independent and structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
