In Product Strategy & Control for Mercedes-Benz Cars (PS), we are shaping the E/E and software development of the future through MB.OS. One of the main objectives of the newly created PS/MBOS department (MB.OS product project management), in addition to defining the strategic product content, is the bundled and comprehensive project management of the MB.OS portfolio - from requirements to successful implementation.
This includes achieving the project goals within the defined budget and time frame, feasibility studies in close coordination with the specialist departments, definition of customer requirements and offer line-ups together with Marketing & Sales through to the economic consideration of the business case of the products together with Controlling.
You will face these challenges:
- Collaboration in the strategic project management of the new operating system MB.OS
- Preparation of important decision papers for top management
- Organization, preparation and follow-up as well as active participation in project-relevant committees
- Coordinating E/E and software development schedules and supporting the maturity level processes including data preparation and maintenance as part of rollout management
- Participation in the continuous improvement of software content management, including the development of process optimizations and cross-departmental collaboration models
- Actively driving project-specific topics in collaboration with related departments (development, design, controlling, sales, purchasing)
- Support in the preparation and follow-up of committees and workshops
You will be actively involved in the above-mentioned topics, take responsibility for your own work packages and support the project management in project implementation. Due to the innovative character of MB.OS, you will benefit from comprehensive insights into project management and directly experience how this approach drives transformative change within the organization.
QualifikationenDegree course: commercial studies, mechanical engineering, business informatics, industrial engineering, technically oriented economics or a comparable degree course
Language skills: Confident written and spoken German and English skills
IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office (focus on Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
Personal skills: Independent way of working, affinity for innovative topics, commitment, ability to work in a team, analytical mindset, strategic way of working, enthusiasm for the automobile and software, communication skills
