Internship in the "Ideation and Customer Insights" department from March 2025

The "Ideation & Customer Insights" team is a research team at Mercedes-Benz AG in the PIONEERING NeXt division.
Among other things, we deal with questions about the attitudes, requirements and behaviors of drivers and customers and examine vehicle innovations and systems in early development phases with regard to customer acceptance and user experience. We draw on a broad spectrum of content and methods of psychological research, including qualitative and quantitative methods, driving tests, experimental approaches and psychophysiological methods.
We also carry out cross-cultural comparisons on various research questions.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Collaboration in empirical studies, such as driving tests, experiments, online surveys and psychophysiological methods
• Getting to know the entire process of empirical customer research
• Participation in ongoing projects

• Degree in psychology, sociology, human factors, market and communication sciences or a comparable course of study
• Affinity for technology and automobiles as well as knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods is an advantage
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office, basic knowledge of SPSS is desirable
• Commitment, ability to work in a team, analytical mindset, strategic way of working
