Internship in the field of internal corporate communications from September 2024

As part of Mercedes-Benz AG's global corporate communications, we inform our 170,000 employees worldwide about our business results, the performance of our shares, economic developments and topics relating to our sustainable supply chain. We use a wide range of suitable communication channels and formats. These range from posts on our social intranet to mailings, newsletters and dialog events.

During your internship in our team, you will work on communication concepts, research and create your own articles and graphics and see them through to publication. In addition to a flair for topics and an editorial interest, you will also have a good eye for visualizing articles. Your fresh perspective and creative ideas are very welcome!

Your tasks:

• You will work on cross-media communication concepts and contribute to the development of new communication formats
• You will create your own editorial contributions for our internal and external online media (employee portal, company website)
• You look after our business news platform "Talking Business": support with topic planning, post content via the CMS, develop layouts and graphics, edit photos
• You will actively participate in the planning and implementation of our Group-wide internal communication on our quarterly results and the Annual General Meeting
• You will help us prepare and implement virtual and physical dialog formats for employees
• You are a member of cross-divisional project groups and implement communication measures for corporate initiatives

• Course of study: Degree in communication sciences, journalism, German studies or a comparable course of study. Knowledge of economics is an advantage, but not a prerequisite; the focus is on communication skills
• Language skills: Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
• Personal skills: strong communication skills, reliability, organizational skills, diligence, commitment, creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm, independent working style
• Other: Practical experience in journalism or press relations is desirable, as is experience with content management systems and Photoshop. Willingness to work from home is a prerequisite

Additional information:

The internship starts on September 26, 2024 full-time (35 hours). The internship lasts six months.
