Mercedes-Benz Vans is responsible within Mercedes Benz AG for the Sprinter, Vito and Citan van series, as well as the V-Class MPV. Our vehicles not only characterize the street scene, but in the case of the Sprinter they even give their name to the class of large vans - the Sprinter class. In addition to its focus on Europe, Mercedes-Benz Vans has locations in North and South America as well as Asia. The future of mobility in the transportation sector is also electric. Our share of battery-electric vehicles is therefore growing steadily. With the EA projects, we have consistently aligned our Group strategy to this and, with the strategic product project 'VAN.EA', we are underlining our claim to leadership in electric mobility in the van and MPV segment.

In your internship, you will work in the VAN/SPEA department (Strategic Project Management for the VAN.EA platform), which is responsible for managing the overall project for the third generation of our battery-electric vans.
For this reason, we are looking for an intern in the field of electromobility and connectivity for Mercedes-Benz Vans who is committed to helping shape the future of the van.

The "Project Management Office" team is responsible for planning and managing the overall project. It forms the interface to all specialist departments in the organization.
During your internship in the PMO team, you will gain in-depth insights into the range of activities involved in project management and the VAN product development process.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Operational participation in the team
• Coordination of the individual departments through active topic management
• Implementation, preparation and follow-up of interdisciplinary committees and workshops
• Preparation of reports and decision papers for development committees and VAN management
• Taking on special tasks
• Ensuring cooperation between the departments & locations

• Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, economics or a comparable course of study
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office - especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Interest in project management and conceptual work
• High degree of independence
• Initiative and communication skills
• High level of commitment and reliability in the execution of work
• Automotive affinity and ideally practical experience in project work
• Experience in automotive development, project management and strategy development is an advantage
