The "Body shell engineering, materials, hardware & tolerance" department is responsible for forming technology and the manufacturability of individual parts in the body shell, from pre-development to series production. By providing technological advice to the engineers responsible for design, we have a direct and early influence on the maturity of the products in the development process. • Carrying out tests for mechanical material characterization
  • Carrying out and evaluating sheet metal forming simulations
  • Preparing and processing the data collected and documenting the results
Qualifikationen
  • Degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, production engineering or a comparable course of study
  • Proficient in written and spoken German and English
  • Confident handling of MS Office
  • Commitment and ability to work in a team
  • Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
  • Preferably practical experience in the field of sheet metal forming, sheet metal forming simulation and knowledge of hot forming
  • Ideally familiar with materials technology and statistical design of experiments (DoE)
