Working student position in the area of Project Management After Sales Compact and Midsize Cars from October 2024

At Global Customer Service and Parts, we support the entire life cycle of Mercedes-Benz and smart vehicles, from the service-oriented design of our products to market launch and product support and maintenance. We support the service organizations worldwide, if necessary also on site. We work closely with our partners from GCSP, development, production, purchasing, legal and quality. We create operating manuals, write diagnostic procedures and are the experts in parts technology, as well as in product evaluation and regulation.our team - Project Management After-Sales Compact and Midsize Cars - represents all after-sales requirements in the new vehicle project and the module groups, thus ensuring a service-oriented product design.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Collaboration in the planning and preparation of upcoming market launches
• Researching the technical background and causes of customer complaints
• Analyzing series-specific issues and processing them as part of monthly warranty and goodwill reporting
• Participation in the preparation and evaluation of low-speed crash tests as part of the insurance classification process
• Technical and business evaluations of concepts
• Development and documentation of repair and service concepts for various vehicle scopes
• Conception, implementation and documentation of vehicle checks (checking the repairability of vehicle components), data analysis, preparation and follow-up, as well as participation in the relevant decision-making committees in development and production

• Degree in economics (international business, technical business administration), engineering (mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, automotive, service), IT sciences, or a comparable degree program
• Experience in the presentation of facts desirable
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Analytical and strategic results orientation
• Customer and service orientation
• Team & communication skills
• Driving license and good technical understanding and affinity for vehicles an advantage
• Experience abroad / intercultural experience desirable
