Working student position in Production Planning Controlling from September 2024

The Mercedes-Benz Cars Production Planning Controlling team is responsible for controlling, planning and analyzing the business parameters of Mercedes-Benz Cars production planning.

By creating transparency and recommendations for action, the department is supported in optimizing costs.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Assisting the divisional controllers of Mercedes-Benz Cars production planning in planning and control functions
• Preparation of business evaluations and management-oriented preparation of information
• Supporting projects for the further development of divisional controlling
• Collaboration in the further development and optimization of processes, methods and systems in divisional controlling
• Conversation management for regular team communication
• Setting up and structuring databases
• Data visualization with the help of dashboards
• Participation in top management meetings as well as (international) workshops and training sessions

• Degree in economics, controlling, business administration (BWL), economics (VWL), statistics, econometrics, mathematics, computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study with an existing quantitative affinity
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• User knowledge of SAP desirable
• Initial experience in setting up/expanding databases and dashboards desirable
• Experience in structured preparation of complex contexts also desirable
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team
