Mandatory internship in the area of function development & application from October 2024

The Drive Application 1 & 2 departments define the drive-side driving experience of a Mercedes-Benz. Our AMG SW/Functional Development & Application BS P3 PHEV team develops the operating strategy for the powerful AMG E PERFORMANCE hybrids and applies the range forecast for future battery-electric vehicles from AMG. We are looking for an intern to help and support us in these exciting areas of responsibility.

These are some of the challenges you will face

• Further development and maintenance of the development-accompanying software tools with Matlab/Simulink and Python
• Supporting the simulative design of the operating strategy for the next generation of sports cars
• Organization and monitoring of measure tracking
• Preparation of tests on prototypes, as well as organization and assistance with test setups including evaluation and assessment of test results
• Support in day-to-day operations
• Constant exchange with related specialist departments in the development network

• Enrolled in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, cybernetics, computer science or a comparable course of study with a completed undergraduate or bachelor's degree
• Proficient in written and spoken German, good knowledge of English is an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Programming experience in Matlab/Simulink and Python
• High level of commitment and ability to work in a team, as well as an analytical way of thinking and strategic way of working
• Valid class B driving license (car)

Please note that your internship at this location must include a prescribed mandatory part.
