Jetzt bewerbenStellenbeschreibung
In the body-in-white construction department, we develop the structural cell and the design-defining add-on parts of the vehicle from the point of view of efficient lightweight construction using steel, aluminum and fiber-reinforced plastics. In the concept team, we develop new and sustainable solutions and validate them as prototypes to ensure that Mercedes-Benz remains a technology leader in the future.
As part of the final thesis, the body shell is to be examined more closely with regard to energy consumption and potential energy savings identified.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
- Comprehensive literature research on the current state of the art
- Support in setting up and collecting energy-related data in shell construction production to obtain well-founded findings
- Preparation of the collected data in a clearly structured form and comprehensive documentation of the results, including detailed elaboration and systematic evaluation
- Derivation of energy-saving measures in the body shop in the form of sustainable concept ideas
The final topic will be determined in consultation with the university, you and us.
