Internship in Project and Program Management RD Performance Projects in Group Research and Development from September 2024

The central project and program management of RD (Research & Development) Performance Projects forms the link between technological and economic excellence in Group research and development at Mercedes-Benz. The department is responsible for strategic initiatives to increase performance and for continuous improvement, thus setting the course for future success.

You can expect the following tasks and areas of responsibility:

• You will carry out in-depth analyses and make a significant contribution to the conception and strategic planning for the management of RD performance projects
• You will be responsible for the pre-management, preparation and implementation of meetings & workshops, up to board level
• You will create presentations and draft resolutions in English for top management
• You will be immersed in selected performance projects where you will play a key role in driving the sustainable and measurable implementation of measures

Ideally, you have the following - professionally:

• Degree in industrial engineering, business psychology, business administration, innovation or project management, engineering courses such as computer science/software development or comparable courses, change management or similar
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
• First practical experience, ideally in component/technology development, in management consulting, in project management
