Your responsibilities

The PhD scholarships are part of the DAAD GSSP (Graduate School Scholarship Program) 2024 (see also ).

In a first step the Graduate School nominates excellent eligible candidates for the PhD Scholarship for the DAAD.

The nominates candidates have to upload their documents to the DAAD.

Two of the nominated candidates are then awarded with a PhD scholarship by the DAAD.

For the selection process of the Graduate School the following documents are to be submitted:

• a curriculum vitae
• a letter of motivation where you express preferences for one of the research topics
• Bachelor’s and master’s degree certificates and certificates of annual examinations taken at the home university (transcript of records) including grades and explaining the home university’s grading system (explanation of grading system)
• documents certifying knowledge of the English language
• a list of publications (optional)
