Mercedes-Benz Cars Procurement & Supplier Quality (MP) introduces itself:

The MP division is responsible for an annual purchasing volume in the double-digit billion range. With the support of almost 1,500 suppliers in Germany and abroad, we supply our global production plants with the necessary materials. To this end, we have purchasing locations in Germany, South Africa, China, India, Mexico and Argentina.

Global industrialization management:

As the "Global Industrialization Management" team, we are responsible for successfully coordinating and supporting the industrialization of all supplier scopes. This means that we ensure that the right quality and the necessary quantity of the scopes of supply are available for production. If necessary, we take appropriate support measures to ensure that the start-ups are carried out.

Our team is in close contact with many different departments at Mercedes Benz AG (Development, Logistics, Purchasing, Quality, etc.), which gives us an insight into the various functions and processes. Due to a global Tier 1 supply chain with corresponding sub-suppliers, the importance of successful industrialization is becoming increasingly important within the company. As a result, we have a direct and tangible influence on the corporate success of Mercedes Benz AG.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Supporting our supplier projects by automating reporting
• Setting up a digital data exchange of production data with our suppliers
• Creating dashboards and report overviews, testing initial analysis functions

• Degree course in engineering or another natural science degree course
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office and PowerBi
• Commitment and ability to work in a team, we will train you and provide you with advice and support from experienced colleagues during your time with us
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working, you will independently familiarize yourself with the topic of data analysis and PowerBi and develop solutions for the preparation of production KPIs of our suppliers
• Depending on the desired working hours, you will work on our Next Gen Industrialization project and support us in project implementation
