Working student position in the area of Finance Analytics in the product Overhead Reporting from October 2024

In the Finance Solutions team, we deal with digital finance solutions/systems with a focus on finance analytics in order to achieve sustainable business value. This includes the definition of uniform business standards, the analysis, design, development and operation of digital finance solutions as well as the integration of finance analytics solutions into and with the overall finance & controlling system and data landscape.

Our team consists of highly qualified and motivated employees who contribute their expertise in cost and inventory controlling very independently in different areas in the respective product teams. With us, you will be part of an agile team that deals with the development and expansion of the overhead cost reporting systems of Mercedes-Benz AG.

These are some of the tasks you will be given:

• You support the development & expansion of the business intelligence system landscape in Finance & Controlling
• You will develop concepts for management and support the development of guidelines and documentation
• You will also be involved in the testing of controlling solutions
• Your tasks will also include measuring quality as part of master data management, evaluating surveys, helping to organize workshops and supporting training sessions
• You will also be responsible for expanding and maintaining the social intranet for the business intelligence solution

• Degree in business informatics, business administration or similar with an affinity for computer science/IT
• Confident handling of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with new technologies and systems
• High analytical and conceptual competence
• Basic knowledge of controlling is an advantage
• Basic knowledge in the field of business intelligence is welcome
• Basic knowledge of agile working, e.g. with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Scrum
• Enjoy working with people and teamwork
• Good knowledge of German and English

Additional information:

The job is partly possible from the home office. Part-time working student position: 15-19 hours per week.
