Working student position in the field of research from October 2024

We are research. We develop future concepts, technologies, components and materials for Mercedes-Benz Cars.

We research the latest technologies for development and work together with world-leading experts in the fields of interior, exterior, digitalization, smart materials, new E/E technologies as well as components and systems.

As the 'Future Materials' team, we research and develop new materials and surfaces for the interior of the future. We work together as an interdisciplinary team from various disciplines.

Are you interested in tackling the challenges of sustainable vehicle interiors? Then you've come to the right place!

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Collaboration with the project management in the design of project content and the development of innovations
• Holistic investigation and evaluation of innovative material concepts
• Carrying out and evaluating material tests
• Preparation of presentations and decision papers

• Degree in the field of materials science, textile technology or similar subjects
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Very good communication and teamwork skills
• Strategic, independent way of working
• Great affinity for new technologies and current developments in the automotive industry
• Valid car driver's license
