Working student position in the area of drive control / vehicle side Mercedes-Benz passenger cars from October 2024

In Product Strategy and Control (PS), we manage the development of the automobile generations of the future. We are already working today on vehicles that will secure Mercedes-Benz's technological leadership in the future. In the PS/CX department, we provide operational support for the strategic project management of the MBC vehicle series in PS/C and PS/L as part of the cross-sectional function "Control of drives on the vehicle side".

In the Drives Management team, we are responsible for coordinating the drive portfolios between the Drives Product Group (PG D) and the MRA, MHA, MFA, MMA, MB.EA-M and MB.EA-L series in collaboration with all relevant departments such as Sales, Development, Controlling, Plants and Certification, right through to the decision-making process. We are actively involved in the management and coordination of the strategic project and act as a link between the project management teams on the vehicle side and the project management teams on the drive side.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Support with test orders for portfolio adjustments within Mercedes-Benz Compact Cars
• Assistance in the preparation and follow-up of the Powertrain Recos/Drive Rounds committees
• Participation in project meetings and coordination meetings to determine vehicle and presentation content
• Creation of excerpts and presentation documents from our WIPPS database
• Support in the preparation of management and decision-making documents

• Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, technically oriented economics, mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study
• Confident knowledge of German (at least B2) and written and spoken English
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint
• Communication skills, ability to work in a team, perceptiveness
• Open-mindedness for work in the field of project management and interest in interdisciplinary work desirable
