Mandatory internship in Project Management Quality Drives from March 2025

Our "Projects and Field Quality Management" department is responsible for the quality of development projects in the Powertrain division. For the in-house developments of our new engines, we are the representatives of quality in the development projects. The focus here is on preventive quality work in the product development process with the aim of ensuring the degree of maturity in good time.

During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the Mercedes-Benz working world and the powertrain area of engines (c-Drive). You will support the Quality Project Management team with current new engine developments and will also gain cross-functional insights into the areas of production, development, logistics, purchasing and planning. The internship will be based at the Untertürkheim plant.

These are some of the challenges you will face

• Supporting the quality project managers in engine projects from the conceptual idea through the development phase to the industrialization and release of the unit
• Supporting the regular querying of performance indicators as well as requirements and milestone evaluations for current engine projects to assess the degree of maturity
• Regular preparation of quality indicators to manage the development projects
• Supporting project managers in reporting to department and center management
• Further development of standards and quality tools within the remit of the Project Manager Quality Engines
• Participation in the preparation and moderation of committees within and outside the team
• Insights into the operational tasks of the Quality Project Manager

• Degree in engineering and/or economics or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office (especially PowerPoint)
• Quick comprehension
• Ability to work in a team
• Creativity
• Commitment and good communication skills
