This challenge awaits you:

The introduction of new drive concepts such as hybrids and e-vehicles has made it essential to revise existing powertrain management and driver assistance functions to create hybrid-capable vehicle functions across petrol and diesel. This also increases the challenges of system optimization in terms of comfort, system costs and driving behavior and requires continuous further development.
Your area of responsibility includes function development, system optimization or tool development in one of the areas listed below. You will work on the functions in the engine control unit, which represent the interface between the vehicle components and the various drive variants.

Your Tasks:

• Driver assistance systems (cruise control, anticipatory driving style)
• Driving behavior (active jerk damper)
• Speed control
• Powertrain management
• Vibration modeling and compensation
• Monitoring and functional safety

Necessary Skills:

• Excellent degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, mathematics or physics with a focus on automotive engineering or control engineering

Desired Skills:

• You have the ability to work independently and in a team
• You`ve got strong communication skills and a confident and convincing manner
• You have digital expertise

Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current hourly rate for this position is EUR 17.52. From February 2025, the hourly rate for this position will be EUR 18.10.
