The Regulatory Reporting & Treasury & Back Office team is part of the Risk Steering & Analytics department, a key pillar of our bank. Here, we not only ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, but also guarantee financial integrity and efficient capital management, which is crucial to the success of our bank.

In order to meet the increasing regulatory requirements in the future, we are continuously working on optimizing our processes and collaboration models. We master our daily challenges through excellent, cross-divisional teamwork, the continuous development of each individual and the use of agile methods.

As an intern (m/f/d/x), you will be actively involved in specialist and project tasks from day one and will quickly take on responsibility. You will gain valuable insights and practical experience in an essential area of financial services. Your analytical skills and commitment will directly contribute to increasing the accuracy and efficiency of our reporting and thus ensuring compliance with complex regulatory standards. In addition to working directly with experienced regulatory reporting experts, you will have the opportunity to build a professional network with us.

We offer mobile and flexible working from home, which can be perfectly combined with your studies. The start date for the 6-month internship can be adapted to your preferred period if necessary. Our services also include remuneration in line with industry standards. Following the internship, you may have the opportunity to start a subsequent working student position or a practice-oriented thesis.

Your tasks

  • Creation of data analyses with access to granular Mercedes-Benz Bank data for regulatory reports
  • Carrying out tests as part of releases or projects
  • Analyzing the monthly AnaCredit report
  • Reviewing and ensuring data quality
  • Participation in continuous improvements of processes and systems
  • Analysis and presentation of results on quality and error development
  • Support with the implementation of regulatory changes
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with teams from IT and Business Intelligence (BI) as well as other specialist departments
Qualifikationen

Qualifications

  • Enrolled student (m/f/d/x) in the field of economics, business informatics or a comparable degree program
  • Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
  • IT affinity
  • Interest in the regulatory framework conditions of financial service providers
  • Experience in evaluating and analyzing mass data
  • Confident handling of MS Office, ideally also basic knowledge of SQL
  • Confident written and spoken German and English skills
  • Initiative, high willingness to learn and team spirit
  • Agile mindset, commitment and reliability

Working hours: 40 hours/week.

Additional information for interns/working students: Working hours for working students are a maximum of 20 hours per week during the lecture period and up to 40 hours per week during the lecture-free period in accordance with legal requirements.

Duration of the internship: 6 months, from 01.10.2024 (possibly later).
