Internship in Product Owner Support Portfolio Planning from October 2024

WIPPS is the central portfolio planning system within Mercedes-Benz Cars for all planned, approved and series production vehicles in all product markets worldwide. After decisions from top management, the documentation takes place in WIPPS, which is the source par excellence for all relevant planning, certification and development processes.

In an agile environment, we develop the successor system with which we plan the vehicle types of tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. As an intern, you will support Product Management (SAFe) and the Product Owners (Scrum) in developing this system in a user-centered way. You will play a central role in the coordination with the specialist departments and the development teams at our development partner.

You will face these challenges:

• Analyzing the existing system, splitting up the functions and designing a new concept
• Conceptualizing the UX design of the new functionality in collaboration with our UX specialists
• Carrying out and planning semi-automated tests as well as checking the results and approving the implementation
• Planning and execution of the implementation when taking the individual iterations live
• Supporting the implementation and follow-up of workshops
• Supporting the product owner in their day-to-day business

• Degree in business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken English and German
• Confident handling of MS Office, FIGMA, Jira and Confluence
• Committed and structured way of working
• Willingness to learn
• Reliability and dependability
• Strong analytical skills
• Initiative and ability to work in a team
