Working student position in the VAN E/E Powersystems division from November 2024

The automotive industry is undergoing radical change. Digitalization in particular is driving this change. In the "MB.OS@VAN E/E Powersystems" department, we are developing the future of wiring systems as an enabler for the electrics/electronics world for the latest van vehicles.

The large variance of components as well as the numerous documentation systems must be mastered and presented. Quality aspects and the optimization of our scopes in terms of assembly aspects and efficiency are also an important part of our work.

You will work directly with all teams to operate reporting on these topics and develop them methodically together with partner departments. In addition, you will create presentations to present to management as a cross-divisional function for the department's strategic topics. All tasks require communication skills and a methodical approach as well as high quality standards for your own work and reliability.

In this exciting and challenging environment, we are looking for you as a working student and offer the following main topics:

• Support in the implementation / development of E/E power systems for vans
• Visualization of maturity levels, generation of overviews and status reports for management meetings as well as weekly progress tracking
• Supporting the information interfaces to the superstructures with regard to maturity level reporting on components, quality features, availability and customer capability
• Creation of slide sets for presentation to management
• If suitable, moderation of workshops and departmental events

• Degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable course of study
• Knowledge of PowerBI and / or cPlace desirable
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident and communicative appearance, as well as enjoyment of constructive cooperation with employees from various specialist disciplines
• Commitment, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
