Internship in the area of Lean, Operational Excellence & Transformation @ VAN Operations from March/April 2025

Our Lean & Transformation department (OPE) is responsible for strategic alignment, transformation, efficiency management and project management. Together, we are driving digitalization, innovation & sustainability and lean management initiatives in the global production network for all organizational units. Our team is cross-locational and international and is characterized by an open and agile team culture. As a central and comprehensive management department, we play a key role in ensuring the future viability of Van Operations and stand for holistic approaches and solutions.

Our team focuses on VAN/O KPIs (key performance indicators) & target house, culture @ VAN/O, fixed costs, complexity & transformation.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Administrative and organizational tasks
• Conception and preparation of internal events
• Preparation of appointments incl. agenda, as well as creation and editing of presentations in German and English
• Supporting the team with upcoming tasks including the design of roadmaps and milestones as well as content planning and implementation
• Preparation and follow-up of workshops
• Creation of posts on the social intranet and further development of the OPE social intranet presence

• Degree in industrial engineering, business psychology, business administration, innovation or project management, communication science, engineering or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English, knowledge of Spanish is an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office, in particular MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Excel; handling of PowerBI, survey tools such as Mentimeter an advantage
• Ability to work in a team and confident demeanor
• Analytical and strategic way of thinking
• Quick familiarization with complex topics
• High degree of initiative and motivation
