Internship in Strategic Product Management for Digital Extras from February/March 2025

Together with Sales, Development and Marketing, Mercedes me connect Product Management is shaping the future product portfolio for the connected vehicle and the future customer relationship with Mercedes-Benz.

We are working to ensure that our customers receive the best connected products, that these are available in numerous new markets worldwide and that we remain profitable as a company. Internally, we are the point of contact for all aspects of our current and future connectivity and telematics services portfolio and therefore have a diverse and interesting range of tasks.

Your tasks include:

• Preparing competitive analyses in the automotive sector and consumer electronics industry
• Preparation of presentations on new business models and calculations on monetization potential, which, in addition to the connected vehicle, also take into account current developments in autonomous driving, electromobility and shared mobility
• Collaboration in the development of the product portfolio, the offer concept and pricing for the introduction of connected services in all sales regions
• Designing concepts for new sales channels and remuneration models independent of vehicle sales, e.g. the introduction of an in-car store
• Collection, evaluation and design of ideas for new connectivity services for introduction in 2025 to 2030

• Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, technical business administration, automotive economics or a comparable course of study desirable
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a team and commitment
• Strategic way of working and analytical way of thinking
• Driving license class B and an affinity for the automotive and smartphone world are important
