Working student position in the area of material supply Tuscaloosa (USA) with import material from October 2024

We support and manage over 600 suppliers worldwide from Böblingen and, with the support of our service providers, ensure that our assembly plant in Alabama, USA is supplied on time with components for the production of the GLE SUV, GLS SUV, EQE SUV, EQS SUV vehicles via sea and air freight.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• An eye for detail. You will create regular reports, fill dashboards with the most important key figures and support the team in managing the supply chain from the supplier to the assembly plant in the USA
• Customer focus. You will participate in internal team meetings as well as international meetings with our US colleague in the assembly plant, our German service providers and suppliers around the globe in the form of TEAMS video calls
• Strong together. You support the team in daily administrative tasks as well as in the organization of team-internal project meetings and help with the preparation of presentations
• Responsibility. You develop decision documents in cooperation with the responsible person

• Degree in economics, business administration, logistics or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
• You are open, communicative and a team player
• You enjoy the challenge of communicating and collaborating in and with an international environment
