In our department Chemical Energy Storage, we work on tasks related to catalyst development, including synthesis, characterization and testing. As a working student, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing catalysts and carrying out reaction studies to improve product output.

What you will do

• Synthesis, characterization and testing of heterogeneous catalysts

• Evaluation and interpretation of conversion and selectivity data

• Independent work in the lab and pilot plant

What you bring to the table

• Current Master's studies with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, in particular technical chemistry
• Ideally initial experience in the field of higher alcohol synthesis and heterogeneous catalysis
• Strong teamwork and communication skills 
• Systematic, scientific way of working

This position is limited to 6 months. The weekly working time is up to 20 hours.
