Internship in Pricing MB Vans starting November 2024

Mercedes-Benz is a leading global automotive brand. As sales controlling for the Van business, we work closely with sales and marketing to set prices that safeguard profitability, convince customers, and serve our business strategy.

We take the CFO view on the business and challenge the premises adopted by sales, the suggested offering concept, and we dive into data to unlock further potential. We screen trends for risks and opportunities and derive recommendations for product and market managers.

As strategy intern at Mercedes-Benz Vans Sales Controlling, you will take on responsibility for

• Strategy: Screening and assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to the Van business model, taking into consideration brand, product, service as well as customer, competitor, and regional developments
• Data analysis: Looking into databases and sales tools, to validate hypothesis with actual data and come up with suggestions how to act upon the findings, including by better integrating data analysis into ongoing processes
• Ad-hoc support: Demonstrate flexibility by taking over a variety of ad-hoc requests from the team (e.g., creation of slides, minutes, management summaries, support with calculations, workshops, research etc.)

• Currently enrolled in a management master/ bachelor program (or graduated in 2024)
• Prior experience in strategy consulting, finance and/ or sales
• Proficiency with MS-Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• English proficiency (German is a plus, but not required)

• Affinity for numbers and a structured, diligent way of working
