Audi Global Graduate Program – Design Engineer Hang-On System with Focus on Sustainable Concepts

Work Environment
Our department is responsible for the research and development (R&D) of all external trim parts such as bumpers, spoilers, underfloor panels etc. These components significantly shape the external perception of every Audi. Our tasks include advanced development in an early concept phase as well as the design process for all series components of the hang-on system. Within a global network, we develop a wide range of exterior parts and collaborate on new innovative concepts with our partners in academia and throughout the entire supply chain. Sustainability requirements and regulations will pose a huge challenge for these parts in the near future and will result in new exciting R&D tasks.
Job Purpose/Role
- You will complete a first project within your target field of Hang-On System Development.
- In course of the program you will work independently on up to four more projects in various divisions of the company, one of them at a VW Group brand abroad. Throughout these assignments you will get to know process partners and interfaces for your future position.
- In addition, you will complete short modules in different areas of the company (e. g. assembly)
- You will engage in various working groups within the AGGP Community
- After completing the program, you will take on your position in the target field of Hang-On System development.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
- University degree from an accredited university in Sustainable Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar required
-Ideally, previous experience in the field of polymer component development and construction
- Above-average academic performance
- You are convincing both in working on topics independently and as part of a highly qualified and highly motivated team
- You are characterized by a high level of motivation, entrepreneurial thinking and acting, organizational skills and intercultural competence
- Minimum of three months of international experience during your academic program through internships or a semester abroad
- Practical experience of at least six months through relevant internships
- Fluent English and German (at least B2)
- Relevant extra-curricular commitment
