Mandatory internship in the area of strategic global projects & change management from September/October 2024

As an in-house lean consultancy, we support the production and planning departments of Mercedes-Benz Cars in the introduction and further development of the Mercedes-Benz Production System (MPS). Our MPS experts are partners to top management both in the construction of new international plants and in the optimization of established plants.

Our team is responsible for two main topics, among others: One focus is on supporting workshops as part of change measures. The second focus is on strategic projects that are introduced and implemented together with top management at all plants worldwide. However, good ideas do not fall from the sky - they are always the result of a creative process and a lot of work. For this reason, we need reinforcement in our team. In this internship, you will work at the interface of project management, organizational development and the rollout of a digital performance management system. Your areas of responsibility will be correspondingly wide-ranging and varied.

These are your tasks:

• Joint idea development of concepts for management workshops (face-to-face and digital)
• Support in the overall management of board projects Preparation of presentations for top management (German and English)
• Coordination of cross-departmental topics and independent coordination/control/cooperation in the further development of lean concepts in terms of content and methodology in an international and intercultural context
• Supporting the team in the change process as part of closed meetings
• Maintenance and configuration of key figure dashboards as part of the introduction of digital monthly store floor management

• Degree in economics, industrial engineering, business psychology or a comparable course of study, preferably with lean management content
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially very good knowledge of PowerPoint
• Commitment and dedication
• Team spirit
• High degree of creativity in the design of workshops
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
• Interest and openness to familiarize yourself with various projects and digital tools with different technical content
