Our Category Management Team DACH, in our Consumer Goods Business Unit in Mannheim is looking for a*n Intern Category Management for a period of 5 - 6 months with 38 hours per week.
Your Role
Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, retail panel and household panel data (including Nielsen and GfK) and shopper behavior to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the category
Reporting: Maintain, optimize, and develop reports to track category performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal departments and external service providers
Category Management Consulting: Provide recommendations for action on our paper hygiene categories to our external retail partners and internal stakeholders
You Identify Yourself With
Bachelor or Master student (m/f/d) in economics or business informatics at a German University or University of Applied Sciences
Interest in retail, consumer goods, and e-commerce
Excellent analytical thinking skills and the ability to interpret data and derive recommendations for action
Excellent MS Excel (pivot) and MS Powerpoint Skills; Knowledge of MS Power BI would be an advantage
Fluent German and English skills
