Your tasks

• As part of our team, you will actively contribute to research and development and work on exciting projects ranging from product development (machines and wear parts) to process optimisation in the field of sustainable and efficient paper production.
• Your tasks in stock preparation in the field of separation and fluid technology are varied and challenging:
  • You will independently develop new test rigs on a pilot or laboratory scale, put them into operation and evaluate them technologically. 
  • You will independently plan and carry out tests on the test rigs and analyse the results from a technological perspective.
  • You will lend a hand and support external trials in paper mills.
  • Literature research on paper technology topics will broaden your field of vision.
  • You may take on design engineering tasks.

Your profile

• You enjoy studying process engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable technical degree programme with a focus on product development.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office programmes (especially MS Excel) is an advantage.
• You appreciate the variety between theoretical and practical activities.
• Very good knowledge of German and/or English, both written and spoken, is required.
• You enjoy being part of a team and want to create something new with others.
• An independent, structured and careful way of working is one of your strengths.
