Working Student Group Controlling (m/f/d)

We are the world market leader for reusable packaging containers (RPCs) for fresh food and are constantly optimizing our products.

We help make the food supply cycle for the population more sustainable. With our RPCs, safety for food transport is improved, there is less waste of food and at the same time the lifespan of the products increases. Through our products and the need for less packaging materials we reduce the carbon footprint.

The Global Controlling team provides IFCO executive management with critical analysis and data used to evaluate performance and support decision making. We are responsible for financial planning, monthly reporting, analysis and process improvement. You will assist in these processes and get insight into a variety of financial reports, finance systems and projects.

Key responsibilities:

• You assist with the preparation of monthly results & financial reporting including commentary and insights on the results.
• You report on key performance indicators to monitor performance and where required identify new KPI’s critical to managing the business.
• You get involved in a variety of finance projects to improve reporting and analysis methodology.
• You assist in the roll-out of the strategic Finance systems.

We expect:

• You are a student in Controlling, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have basic knowledge of financial accounting.
• You are open-minded and adaptable.
• You possess excellent analytical skills.
• You have a strong willingness to learn and grow.
• You demonstrate great attention to detail.
• You can perform well under pressure.
• You have solid interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
• You are proficient in Excel and have a good command of other Microsoft Office applications.
