Powertrain production at Mercedes-Benz is highly automated, networked and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. But it does not run by itself. In order for driving pleasure to be produced in series, people are needed who are passionate about what they do. Independently and as part of a team, they achieve extraordinary things every day and help to make automotive dreams come true.
The Powertrain work management department - the heart of efficiency - plays a decisive role here.
We bring highly automated production and state-of-the-art assembly lines into series production with optimum deployment of personnel, determine the necessary personnel requirements and support our customers in increasing their efficiency and achieving their goals - E2E from the strategy phase through to phase-out.
You can expect an exciting and varied job with a motivated management team that develops new approaches and processes in an agile manner together with its business partners.
You will face these challenges:
- Participation and implementation of entrepreneurial control elements (e.g. score cards)
- Contributing to the further development of efficiency indicators, methods and processes
- Organization and follow-up of meetings, committees and workshops
- Taking on digitalization projects and other smaller projects
- Preparation of presentation documents for management
- Tracking defined project milestones
- Collaboration in the development of the KPI-based personnel cost planning method for logistics systems
- Integration of KPI-based personnel cost planning in database solution (SAC)
- Cross-location work via MS Teams and Co.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Management, Business Administration, Business Administration, Information Management or Industrial Engineering
- Proficient in written and spoken German and English
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Commitment / ability to work in a team
- Analytical way of thinking
- Structured and independent way of working
- Strong comprehension, communication skills and customer orientation
- Desirable: Experience in mobile working
