YOUR TASKS:
- You research literature on the topic of 3D mapping and localization for mobile, autonomous robots.
- You make a well-reasoned selection of methods to be investigated.
- You implement selected methods on the provided hardware, adapt them, or further develop them.
- You design and conduct experiments to compare different methods.
- You evaluate the selected methods.
- You document your work results in detail.
YOUR PROFILE:
- You are studying mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable field of study.
- You have excellent programming skills in C++.
- Ideally, you have knowledge in the areas of laser measurement technology, mathematical optimization, or cartography.
- (Very) good English skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Your independent and structured working style completes your profile.
